The Across the World boardgame is a way of considering a different way of communicating similar information from the Across the world book spreads. This is able to be played with up to 5 players, with each player moving a unqiue figure across the board.
This contains a depiction of the routes on a map in the centre of the board, which corresponds to the colour coding of the individual figures, aiming to provide an informative reference to the players of the game.
The amount of squares moved by the player is influenced both by chance with the roll of the dice and by landing on ability squares; which provide a unqiue advantage depending on the counter played and challenge squares; which provide a disadvantage. All of these cards are based around facts about these birds and their migrations.
